		<description>Hi
Perhaps you can answer this question. I recently developed a chronic medical condition whereby I must severely restrict my consumption of phosphate containing products eg. meats and chesses. Prior to this my favourite beverage was beer however I was told that I could no longer imbibe in beer due to its phosphate content. My next most favourite beverage is cider (hard), however I have been unable to find information as to the content of phosphates which may (or may not) be a byproduct of fruit fermentation (I have found that sulphates are). I am not restricted from any other alcoholic beverages (wine [grapes], spirits) so I am a bit perplexed. Can you shed any light on this thus allowing me to imbibe in one of my pleasures or crossing it off my list?
Sincerely
Brian L. Butcher</description>
